Description
What is Masa Harina? Masa harina (Dough flour) is the traditional flour used to make tortillas. A dough from specially treated (nixtamalized) maize. Nixtamalization is an ancient process dating back to the Mayans whereby previously indigestible corn (maize) is soaked in lime, washed and then turned into flour to make flat breads (tortillas).
