At MASA Tortillas, we are dedicated to making the freshest and most authentic tasting tortillas that will transport you to Mexico. We are a small independent business producing fresh tortillas three days a week from our unit in Redfield, Bristol. You’ll probably smell the wonderful corn before you see us, tucked away in a little industrial estate.
Our tortilla machine works hard to cut and perfectly toast white and blue corn tortillas, perfect for tacos, quesadillas, tortilla chips and more. Our tortillas are gluten-free, GMO-free and preservative free whilst maintaining a wonderful corn taste. Our soft corn tortillas, masa harina (corn flour), and other Mexican and Latin American ingredients are available to buy from our online store or by paying us a visit during our opening hours.

OUR TORTILLAS
As versatile as they are delicious
Tortillas are the cornerstone of Mexican cooking. These nutritious flat-breads, originally called ‘tlaxcalli’ by the mesoamericans, have been around for thousands of years. Our tortillas are made from nixtamalised corn with zero preservatives and are naturally gluten free.
Soft corn tortillas can be used for a huge range of dishes. Tacos and quesadillas are the most popular use for soft corn tortillas but they can also be fried or baked with excellent results into tortilla chips, tostadas, croutons for soups and salads, taquitos, enchiladas and more.
We care about the footprint we leave on the planet. We cycle to work, we partner with Zedify Cycle couriers for all our local deliveries. We use Royal Mail for our subscriptions and we use carbon neutral couriers for national deliveries. Our boxes are recycled and we either use recycled blank newspaper sheet or re-used packaging. The packaging for our tortillas is made from bio-plastic and contains an accellerant for rapid decomposition.
