Traditionally made with beef, goat, or lamb, it’s loved for its comforting broth, savoury aroma, and unforgettable taste. Our carefully balanced birria spices recreate this legendary dish at home, while being 100% vegan-friendly – making it just as perfect for mushrooms, jackfruit, or aubergine as it is for slow-cooked meat.

🥄 How to Cook
For 2–3 servings, marinate 500g of beef (shank, chuck roast, short ribs) – or go plant-based with mushrooms, jackfruit, or aubergine.
👉 Mix 2 tbsp (≈15g) of mild vegan birria spice mix with 2 cups (≈480ml) hot water and 1 tsp sugar (optional). Pour over your protein and cook until tender:

Slow cooker: 4–5h High | 7–8h Low

Dutch oven: 3h at 160°C (vegetables: 45–60 min)

Pressure cooker: 35–40 min (vegetables: 8–10 min)
👉 Shred and serve in warm tortillas with onion, coriander, and lime.
